New Expansion Teams Shake up Divisions
This year, 2 expansion teams are joining the MLB. The Tacoma Orcas have joined the AL West, and the New Orleans Navy will be joining the AL Central. Meanwhile, two veteran teams will be changing divisions while the newbies get settled. The Pittsburgh Pirates will be moving to the AL East to make room in the NL Central for... THE WHITE SOX?!?! Cubs Hire New GM

Since the salary is higher than my budget, I'll probably be trading a lot of overpriced players (Soriano, Blanco, Ward, Marquis). I'm going for the WS at the same time. I hope I can do it! Oh, and before I get any questions about it, all my difficulties are on expert, with lock on 1. Baserunning is Semi-Auto normal (I stink when I'm controlling every runner).

Opening Day: Cubs @ Reds
Zambrano vs Harang
Derrek Lee's first home run came in the first inning for an early 1-run lead, but Cincinnati quickly came back half an inning later. The score remained tied until the 6th when Ryan Theriot hit an RBI single. Then Aramis Ramirez blew it wide open with a grand slam. Unfortunately, Kerry Wood blew his first save opportunity, only for Derrek Lee to hit another longball in the 10th. Soriano followed up with a shot of his own, and Michael Wuertz managed to close out the game for a save.
