Someone actually saw a commercials for PP 07 and 08? I never saw any. Here's how I decided to try PP 07, if anyone cares...

I used to play a game called Bottom of the 9th from Konami on the PS1 (I got it for 4 bucks in a bargain bin at a video store). I thought that game had the best gameplay and physics that I had ever played. Since then I was always waiting for a next gen baseball game from Konami. When I saw Power Pros 07 on the shelf at Gamestop, I had to try it. It turned out to be better than I expected and now I am hooked.

I'm just glad I constantly edited PP 08 to keep the players attributes up to date. It looks like I'll be playing this game for a long time, maybe forever...

I got my game because my friend rented it for a sleepover and I didn't want to get it but then he left so I played season mode and automatically fell in love, I got The Bigs 1 first and I didn't like it and I thought all baseball games weren't good after that but then I learned otherwise with power pros

it actually also taught me alot about the mlb and where players play, the stadiums, all the teams and etc

last summer i had some extra cash after my bday,so i thought id buy a 20 $$ game,i looked,and nothing drew my eyes,until i saw mlb power pros,i looked at it and said,eh,its ok,so i got t,i got home,played it,AND JSUT LOVED IT!

Well, this should have a thread "how did you experience PP for the first time"

Mine was, I saw the game on the back of a gamepro magazine.
I was curious, had a little extra money, and I bought it.

Was frustrated with the success mode at first but figured it out with a little help from this site.

It was the first mlb I have bought myself, ( I have gotten others by gifts) but this is the deepest baseball game I have played.

(small side note: I also got my cousins family "hooked" on this game, and now they can't put it down.)

When we bought the Wii each family member chose a game. I googled baseball for wii and after reading many many articles I chose PP. Went to store,best buy, to buy our games and PP was no where to be seen so I went with the BIGS, which I absolutly hated, and traded that junk in two later for PP which I found at gamestop.

Same here. I saw it and I thought it looks cool so I did a google search and read more on the game and I went to go get the game about a week later. Then I saw 2008 was coming out and all the extra stuff it had and I got really excited to play it. Now that I see 2009 is out and I am ready to buy that as soon as it hits the shelf.

First baseball game for me was Bases Loaded which I wish they could dive and jump but that happened when BL 2 came out. But you can't forget R.B.I baseball. I do like super baseball 2020.

But it's true!
I would LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to see what the reviewers say.
I would bet cold hard cash that somebody like IGN will mention PP in their review.
