It hasn't been proved impossible. In theory, it can't be. You could need to hit a button at the exact moment Jonathan or some random person says something. Or you need to complete both Patty and Lucy's arcs (which hasn't been done yet). There is an infinite possibility of ways to unlock this, but for now, we can say it can't be done. jk

The only way to get it in MLB Life is by having the beginning ability "Utility Man".

I didn't understand this ability... What happen if you don't have it when a player plays as its 2nd or 3rd position ?

If your primary position has an A rating then your secondary position(s) will also be rated A, instead of C.

Ok, but where do you see your position rating ? The first position rating is always A ?
A C rating means that you are slower or error prone ?

Wiki : "A positive 2nd Position (2nd Position 4) will raise the position level to B while a negative one (2nd Position) will lower it to D."

You see it in the "Other 2" Category.

Slower to react and less rangy in the field. FLD impacts:
1) Reaction Time – how quickly the defender will react to a ball put in play.
2) Range – how close the defender must be to a ball to field it successfully.
3) Transfer – how quickly the defender can transfer the ball from his glove to his throwing hand.

It doesn't impact a player's ARM, SPD or ERES.

I totally agree. Making catcher a secondary position instead of the primary position causes you to miss out on Trash Talk, but you'll survive. Honestly, other than AJ Pierzynski, I'm not sure who really deserves Trash Talk.
