I have no experience in this matter, but from some other posts, I gather that upgrading the original pitch is like up grading any other pitch - it moves up one level (blinking rectangle), and adds a little more movement.

That's the way it seems in '08. You're still the top poster even though this is the first time I saw you post since '08 came out.

major yes, but i have a question and find it pointless to create another thread for this thing, but, can someone post their whole schedule? by that i mean, what practice's or actions they did to get to dads training,(starting from the beginning) becuase i've done 20 carrers and about 60 S/L's to try and have it work, but it doesnt, i mean, i choose no when the bat is offered by byson, no when dad says to throw the glove away, yes or marvin when he asks for help, and i sometimes get to the part where mr. fox talks to him, but its when they're in the city, not on the baseball field, so, any help please?

It isn't easy to do even if you do follow the events right. After your dad and Rudy talk in the city the next RE they will talk on the field and then usually 1-3 weeks later he'll ask to train you. Use the challenge card.

problem is that mr. fox usually talks to dad in the city near the end of year 2, often near the beginning of year 3, and sometimes never, maybe you have to train a certain amount of times, or do your job or study for a certain amount of time, has anyone here got his training more than 10 times?

I got his training 13 times with one player. As I said, it's an RE but I think the chances of the next RE in the arc occuring have to do with how good or bad of a mood your dad is in.But I got him to start my training just after the Year Around Year 2, December.

i kinda ment with more than 10 separate players, not with one, becuase once you start training with him you can get it more than once

I've gotten it with 8 pitchers. 5 hitters.

I didn't know he could give training to fielders.

The hitting abilities are the same ones you can get from Sittch in place of the ORIG pitch.

but sittch is easier to find and i like the 07 success mode better than 08's, oh well, i just hope that 09 will have both, and from what i've seen, they do
