From a buisness perspectice, letting us know the release date early wouldn't be a very good idea. In fact, leaking information about a game that will come out or it's release date could very well and quite probably lose his job and get him sued for breaking confidentiality (if I am familiar with the process like I think I am, but I could be a little off).

Yogisms (Yogi Berra Quotes):
- When you come to a fork in the road, take it.
- When asked if he wanted a pizza cut into 4/8 slices, Yogi responds with "Better cut it into 4, I don't think I could eat 8."
-Always go to other peoples' funerals otherwise they won't go to yours.
-I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
-In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.
-It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future.
I'm on vacation for about a month.

He could always ask for permission.

Hey! I have another idea! Let's ask him if any of the players he's met play the game!

Yup. We need to think a little more realistically.

Guys, there is no chance he could tell us before it's publically announced, and he would not get permission even if he did ask. And I doubt that an 100 signature petition would attract a major leaguer or something like this. What you're doing is great, the petition is a good first step. But I think all of you are setting your sights way too high. It's a small petition, and unless it's for some sort of charity (which would still be a stretch), a player won't say anything.

Well, he is right. If Ronnie is smart, he'll keep his job. And a 100 sig petition won't change ANYTHING.
