I wonder if we'll see another name leaked in five months when a player retires.

At this point, the only players who would truly shock me are Griffey, Wakefield, or Schilling. I wouldn't even be surprised if Jeter or Mussina experimented with steroids at one point and they're both class acts.

Griffey, no way. I've seen him play, he has a pure stroke, he doesn't just smash homers out like Sosa, Bonds, or McGuire. He generates power with his whole body not just his arms. I know Griffey wouldn't take steroids. I'm just saying, I'd be shell-shocked if he tested positive.

this is dumb, why keep focusing on the past. yes players took the stuff move on. how far are we going to go into the past next year you going to hear that babe ruth took steroids

Why does this suprise you? If you ask anyone about players who they think took steroids, Soso's name is right up there with Bonds and Maguire. He jumped form 30 to 66 homers or whatever he hit. I was almost certain he took it before anyway. And Jeter? No chance. His dad is a drug-and-alcohol counselor who instilled in his children an aversion to chemical abuse at an early age. He talks to kids about why NOT to take them. That is one that I wouldn't beleive. Shilling being so shocking? Why Shilling? He's not the world's nicest guy or anything. Not really a class act like Jeet, Griffey, or Moose. Don't think I'm suggesting he did, I'd be suprised if he did. I'd be suprised if most guys did. Now the annoying thing is is that this came out illegally ONCE AGAIN. And who ever did this could go to jail or at least lose there job and be heavily fined, but they will probably never find the guy who told him. I really hate that guy now for bringing this all back once again (assuming it was the same source).

I'd be very surprised if Moose took steroids. The same with Wake.


Why would Wake need to take steroids? He really only throws the knuckler. I'm not sure PED would help his knuckler be better. A knuckler is it's own pitch, you don't control it. Besides, Wake is a fitness nut. The knuckler is the only thing keeping Wake's career alive. If he stays healthy, he could possibly pitch until he's 50. That knuckleball barely hurts your shoulder.

im not really suprised but it would be nice if they move on and forget about it. also everyone thought he was cheating when they found out he was using a cork bat however a cork bat makes it harder for a player to hit the ball deep because the cork will absorb most of the energy created by the pitch

To tell you the truth, I don't care. Sosa's a chump. That's all I have to say

i was digging through my baseball card collection, and i found a Sosa card 2 years into his career, when he was with the White Sox. If you compare the way he looked back then to the way he looks now, then you basically have a good argument that he indeed took steroids. You know how buff he is now? Well, back then, he had no muscles at all. He was incredibly skinny. You may argue that he worked out a lot, but his muscles improved drastically in that time period.
