Ok recently Odawali has been browsing around for cheats/easter eggs in the game


The Konami Cheat

It being Up, Up, Down, Donw, Left, Right, Left, Right, L1, R1 on Ps2
and
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, 1, 2 on Wii

this is to be used at the view created players menu and allows you to view the abilities of Major League Players


The Batting Stance/Alvin Pitching Form Cheat

Right, Left, Up, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Down, Left
used on the D-Pad for both systems at the main menu( the menu after the screen with Dice-K on it)

Is there a cheat to unlock Alvin's pitching, or even Oscar's?

Alvin's pitching is part of the "Batting Stance cheat" It'll be under "3-Quarters" form.

Oscar's form is Paul Byrd's.

Your old lady plays PP with you? You and I are lucky men (my wife doesn't play PP with me, but she plays some games with me) Before the kids came along we played through RE4 3X! Those were the days.....

She bought the game for me months back and learned quickly that I was spending a lot of time playing it. She knows all the characters now, and is familiar with the story arcs, and likes to watch me play Success Mode. She told me earlier today that she was going to buy the DS version for herself when it comes out. I am indeed lucky. She actually plays more video games than I do, so we fight over the Wii from time to time. It is a nice argument to have.

Maybe this isn't an egg, but for lack of a better place to post it, you can change the side switch hitters hit from (ex you can hit left-handed against a left-handed pitcher) by pausing the game and hitting L1/R1 on PS2.

I assume it's possible on Wii but I don't know how the controls correspond. (On PS2, L1/R1 is what you usually use to toggle big swing.)

If that really how you do it its likely that you would hit pause and hit 1/2 seeing as that is what equivalent was for the previous code

if anyone wants to check this out go ahead but we will have conformation by tomarrow

Random bit:

Pressing the Z button (the same button you use to advance text ultra quickly in success mode) in the pitcher practice modes, you're pitcher will switch between the stance that he uses when a runner is on base.

Someone mentioned in another thread that there's a button that you can press to throw the ball to the crowd at the end of an inning.

Oh you're referring to the ability to throw the ball into the stands if the requirements are met

1. Must be fly out
2. must be 3rd out
3. Must be at home

after that if your far enough in the out field just throw to a base and instead he will toss it into the stands"

what is the cheat for free power points or a cheat for unlocking everything in the shop

There is none. If that was there it'd ruin the point of the game. Konami isn't that evil.

Then, if it isn't even a point in the game, why do you request an easy cheap way to have all items in the shop?
