If swimming is so good for your figure, how do you explain whales?
It's not an optical illusion. It just looks like one.
If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?
Do they sterilize the needles for lethal injections?
Live every day as if it were your last. Eventually you’ll be right.
How come when you open a can of evaporated milk it’s still there?
If it's zero degrees outside today and it's supposed to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold is it going to be?

I haven't made any pitchers for '08 since last octocber or something like that but in '07 I usually purchase a decent level 1 breaking pitch then I get stamina up to a C or B so I can last longer and get more experience. Then I go for everything else in no particular order.

I agree with Lance. Build stamina whenever possible (more IP = more experience/coach/scout points) and make sure you have a breaking ball before your first playable game (more Ks = more experience/coach/scout points). You will have leftover experience points to use on velocity and control, so don’t worry about falling behind in those areas. Once you build enough stamina to throw a complete game and create a knockout pitch that allows you to K nearly every batter you face, you be rolling.

Get that SCB a little higher, and nobody will guess where it's going to be. Just see my Tomlinson player.

Not gonna be my type of player, try Lucy's Arc. I find Intimidator more beneficial than Gyroball. Also, I'm 1/3 in Patty.

My advise. Up Stamina whenever possible. Add breaking balls after balls. Try to go for double gambles.

This character is not going to be wat i though he was (I do have a 7 Orig slider, but my gambler's ring broke) my top spd is 91 my stam is a middle B and control is barely a D and my splitter is a 5 and Scb is still a 1......i do NOT know how to gamble efficiently...its just after the 1st galaxy sharks game

You have to be willing to save after each succesful turn, and reload if something bad happens (failed gamble, ring breaks, injury, etc). I have a step-by-step recipe for creating an ace. Feel free to PM me with your email addy and I can email you the excel sheet - I have one for a maxed hitter as well. This is the only pitcher I have ever made. I dated Lucy to get Intimidator but waited one turn too long for the clinching date . . . still, he's nearly perfect without it:

Clyde Zapp, SP (SEA)
B/T R/R (Overhand 23)

105 MPH
182 CTRL
242 STM

7 FORK
7 DCB
7 ORIG (sinker + more break)
7 SLD
7 CCHG
7 CB

Fastball Life 4
Gd Bunt
Gd Delivery
Gd Low Pitch
Gd Morale

Ooh. Never thought of that. I mean I don't need it for the scouts, but those could be valuable experience points. Good suggestion. D can usually get through 8-9 in Success Mode, right?

Depending on the caliber of the offense it gets 6-9 innings. B stamina gets you a complete game almost every time unless you give up too many runs.

Im mainly mad over the final GS game (i made it to the bottom 9th down by only 1-0...my pitcher was tired and he was up to bat, ithough it was hopeless so i just pit another pitcher to pinch hit and he got a hit! and my leadoff catcher did to! joey got out....and then they WALKED Terry  so marvin hit a friggan groundout! all i needed was 1 hit  )
:jawdrop:

but still my best player ever   8) :D :) :P
