Konami games usually have cheats. They are after all the creator of the eponymous Konami Code, probably the most famous cheat of all time.

You can actually enter a variation of the Konami Code in MLB PP's "View Created Players Screen" to view the default players' stats and abilites, though it's hardly useful for this particular version, where you can do the same thing through player edit.

also, what would you enter in if you were to use it?

It means that instead of your created players, you'll be able to browse though the players of major league teams on that screen.

Edited players will show up with their edited stats and abilities though. Otherwise this trick might have had some use.

The PS2 version is

U, U, D, D, L, R, L, R, L1, R1
(U,D,L,R: D-pad)

but I don't know how the Wii controller works.

the wikipedia page has the last 2 as B, A... so there is a possibility that it's doable... I'll try it after finals ><"

There's a practical reason why Power Pros doesn't use the default Konami Code ending in B A: because hitting B or A on that screen would either select a player or go back to the previous menu.

I'd assume the Wii version would use the equivalent of L1 and R1 on the controller, whatever they are.

I did some digging and found the Wii counterpart

UUDDLRLRYX on the GC or classic controller
UUDDLRLR12 on the Wii remote

Nice, thanks for that. I wish I knew Japanese so I could help you find more codes, but I don't.

I just started a new thread in the General Discusion forum for all the cheats you might find

I changed my stance using this once. I had picked Mars' stance, after using the code, and when I changed it at the event, it went to Ken Griffey Jr.'s stance, which still worked out well. I think that it's just random, which stance you get.
