Dude, we still would bring in fans from heritage and we would still win games. They are just 4 players. It's like Randy jonhson in 06. It's not like we have no good players. We have many. :???:

I don't think there's any turth to that. I'd say it's true about the Red Sox since 04 and 07 though (And I'm sure the Yanks since 06).

I haven't really noticed any new Red Sox fans in quite a while. Regardless, I still hate people (even Red Sox "fans") who only pick they're favorite team based on who did good recently.

How would you know if they're new or not? Do they just walk up to random people at a game and say "Hi I'm new here"?

This is turning out to be just like the Chelsea and Manchester United rivalry. Other teams in the league dislike Chelsea and Yankees how they go out and buy the best people and give them tons of money to make sure they get that player. But of course, Man Utd is and will always be better than Chelsea.


Way back in 04' after Sox won it, Yankees management said that the Red Sox haven't reached their potential yet and that I quote,"It's scary how good they [Red Sox] will be."


Course Chelsea will never say anything like that even if Man Utd hasn't reached it's full potential with Ronaldo and Rooney. But Chelsea will probably go to Africa and pay some good talent millions to play with them.

Hahahahahaha A-Rod homers.

Oh Dr. Mario, Man U did spend 30 million on Rooney and 12 million on Ronaldo. Rio Ferdenand cost 30 million, most ever for a defender. Veron from a few years ago cost alot and he was epic fail, 28.1 million. Van Nistelrooy was ok but cost 19 million. Chelsea spends alot and that is only now. Man U doesnt spend alot now, Micheal Carrick 18.6 million. Man U is more like Yankees, but they perform like the Sox. Im a Man U fan :)

either way, 12 mil is a bargain, and van nistelrooy was great at Man U.
