True but you have got to remember this is a japanese game. The first major league game was not released here, so there is no sure thing that it is coming here. I just wish 2k would get off their lazy ass and tell us whether or not it's coming. I still having seen anything at eb.

yeah, but i still think its a bit odd to make a mlb game and release it to only japan

And they would make loads of money if they advertised it because PEOPLE ARE SICK OF MLB 2K(Insert Year)!!!!!!

Well guys from what I'm seeing in the game. I think it's gonna come to our shores some time. The main menu is like Ketiban, it's japanese on top of english words, describing the what the topic is. The announcer is speaking in english to include players name and position just like 07, 08.
Pictures to come of the game as soon as i give the game a break. just got it today from japanesevideogames.com here in southern california.

I know there was an April Fools joke along this same line, but this is a real email. That being said it is coming from tech support which may or may not know anything about that they are saying.

Currently we do not have any information of a 2009 version of this game being in production, a 2009 version of the game would have been brought out by now if one was coming out.

Thanks for the welcome, Apple 4960. one thing i've noticed is the japanese success mode has ussually more teams. I know this year they have 5 teams, but last year they had the Green apples and Golden apples as playable, and the year before the Tulips were playable. In contrast the japanese NPB versions for them had 3 to 4 teams playable. Sorry if i'm off topic but I think that 2K should have put more teams in instead of being cheap.

It's not off-topic but I like that they put in 5 teams in '09. Now they just need to give it to us!!!!!!!

I Set My teams for sucess mode 09 like this:
Apples and Sharks: All around players
Monkeys: Fielders and utility players
Gigantes: Hitters and Pinch hitters
Strawberries: Speedsters and Pinch Runners
