Well I did a season with my success mode team and they dominated to a 106-56 record(we were great after the all star games and 106 wins is a record for me)

Well I made it to the playoffs and I played the 98-64 Red Sox and I got swept

If you look at this team, it looks pretty amazing and it led the AL west in EVERY offensive and pitching category

I don't know what happened but I lost game 1, 10-5. I lost game 2, 5-3 then game 3 was bad. I had a 1 run lead in the 9th with Shurhoff pitching, there were 2 outs and a man on with Lowell up. And you guess it, he hit a homerun to give them a lead. Then Brett Bellhon came up with 2 outs in the 9th and hit a bomb to right field and Drew robbed him of a homerun with a leaping catch(its a small fence).

Any comments because I don't know where to go from there but at least it shows that winning in the postseason isn't easy, even with a great team

ouch, thats a tough way to end a season but I wouldn't know cause I've rarely played in the postseason
I'll play season mode every once in awhile but usually as the nationals but I don't think I've ever had a postseason game before

Dude i feel your pain. My Louisville Express got upsetted in the first round to a barely above .500 Red Soxes team. I also had over 100 wins and not to mention the season's mvp, and wins leader

Try hitting the free agency hard after your first season. Try to get big name guys, such as CC Sabathia. Even mediocre teams can win it all.

I either get outbid(low payroll = little money to spend) or I get him and he ends up a bust of injured. I got Sabathia and he had an ERA over 5 once and Johan Santana got injured for 32 days for elbow pains which ended in badness. I did get 90 wins one year but I still lost out on the division AND the wild card which stunk

In this game, all teams have even salaries. Plus, at the beggining, the Nationals earn way more money then the big spenders like the Red Sox or Angels. They earn slightly less, but pay way less. After 3 seasons with the current Nationals team, you could afford A-Rod, Santana, CC, Halladay, and Pujols easily.
