Is there a way to trigger the Investment RE? I've only seen that once.

Good question. I get it all of the time but I have no idea how to trigger it.

I believe you need to have several hundred dollars for it to have a chance of coming up. I believe the amount is $500, which, if I'm remembering right, is the most you can invest with him. I'm glad you brought this up because I was going to mention it on the wiki and it slipped my mind.

I don't believe this has been proven; its more of an educated guess on my part.

There's a good chance of getting Lucky and Unlucky through the Investment RE, depending on how well you do.

I've had it come up when I had just over $100 and I invested with him. A couple months later he came back and gave me $110 dollars back or so and I got the lucky tag.

Yeah, I've had him come with just over $10. I also think you can invest $1000 if you choose challenge but I'll need to check that intel. He's also come in my second year a couple of times.

I have never seen this one until late 3rd year. I got Lucky and made some decent bank off the investment.

He does take a while to pay it back, so when I meet him in the 2nd year, he won't come back until the third year.

You know how there was the theory that every event that produced an ability for a pitcher would also produce a parallel one for a hitter?

Is that still alive?

I wouldn't go as far as saying "every" but it's generally true.

What would be the hitter's equivalent of Gyroball?

Maybe "Refined". The only place i could ever find that was through a skill book.

I would agree on the Refined part. It's only from SoH and while you might not be able to see what it does it definitely adds that extra "something" to your swing that I think Gyro adds to the fastball.

With Pete the few times I tried the investment deal I always lost money, so now I just play a No card if I have one. That can give w/RISP for pitchers, don't know about for hitters.
