Alright, I'll start the story as my over my character's point of view but I will change it after the beginning I'll got to a third person view for everyone...

Recruiting Meeting

Harrison Steel the newest prospect of the Vancouver College Mendenhals was headed to the (insert league name) Baseball team meetings (before school had even started and just after the high school championships). And of course he happened to be late (which really isn't his character type). Harrison arrived to the glass dome called (insert championship field name here) and he noticed some other younger players standing and talking amongst themselves in the center of the room. Harrison quietly sat down and quickly scanned the room for anything that looked like a Mendenhal (whatever that was Harrison thought quickly... ). He noticed a Vancouver sign that said back to back to back to back to back to back to back champions on it and decided to walk causally over there. Harrison asked the older man if he knew where the players should be and the man pointed towards where Harrison was just sitting and just then a big bang sounded and in ran a player and then a man on the top of the stairs said "Why thank you Mr. Jorgenson {(Sorry DeathJohnson for using your character)} for coming, Alright you are gathered here today because you are all recruits of the *blank* league, and this year we are bringing this famed tournament back to television and back to the world of baseball. I as your commissioner I (name) expect a few things from you, first off your are all college students and I know how college students act, for that I cant stop, but do not disgrace me or this tournament by your offfield decisions. Furthermore I have called you into this meeting before college even starts because to make this tournament what it once was you need to know the teams as well as my rules and the tournament rules, I have promised you a pipeline to the majors if you follow my rules. Now you each will go into a private meeting with your new team and there you will discuss the team rules and practice lineups. Thank you goodnight." The commissioner briskly turned around and returned to his computer. Harrison and a few other players were called to a back room with the older guy Harrison talked too. In the room was what looked like the whole team and all the coaches, trainers, and etc. "Alright," the old man said "I'm the head of the athletic association at Vancouver University and as you know you have been recruited for the 7 time college league champs the Mendenhals, we expect greatness and a desire to win from all of you..."
"If you make the team." interrupted one of the coaches.
"Well coach Powell lets hope they make the team, anyway I'm 3rd base coach Roland Stone how bout the rookies start by introducing themselves and their position they hope to be and our returning players could do the same..."
After a few people went Harrison said his name, age, dorm, hometown and finally position.
Halfway through the returning players Harrison hears a familiar name Flint Kadaver, and Greg Kadaver his too rivals from the high school tournament...
After the everyone introduced themselves the coaches continued to talk about the prestige of their program and practice schedules, but Harrison was too busy trying to catch the Kadaver's eyes. At the end of the meeting the Coach says rookie practices August 28th and normal practices start September 2nd. After filing out of the room Harrison is stopped by Flint who welcomes him to the team and talks about how he helped recruit Harrison to the Mendenhals and Greg Kadaver says that Flint has to leave so Flint takes off in their car and Harrison returns to the rookie room and everyone seemed to have found someone they sorta know so HArrison goes to the team room and asks Coach Stone for a roster...
After spending time with the Coach Harrison talks about his strengths and weakness as a ball player and eventually leaves to go home...




Alright if everyone could add a meeting of their rivals in the rookie room and such just to this part we can start this. This meeting was for everyone to share there personalities and rivals. For each team you could add the team meeting room. Thanks for waiting....

Ryan Techer and Quipp Cartilije were best friends since elementary school, and were two of the top 50 college players in the world. They were set to join the Vancouver College Mendenhals. They arrived together at the Dish Network dome, the championship home of the Telemacor league, and quickly they were taken aback. They saw their biggest rival from High school, Bullhead, had joined the Mendenhals. They turned to each other, and decide to just play along. The manager, Evan Longoria, and some other coaches, casually walked in the door.
"Welcome everyone, to the Mendenhals, I'm one of your coaches, Evan Longoria." He started, "We have high hopes for you. Let's have the players introduce themselves, and their positions. Let's start with you two," he pointed to Ryan and Quipp. They each stated their name and positions, and sat back down. The other players, Longball714, Mark (who had just made the transition from Powerful University and the Sunny League,) Harrison Steel, and Nick Butron, just to name a few, stated their names and positions.
"We all hope you can make the roster," Said 3rd base coach Roland Stone,"and we expect greatness and a desire to win from all of you." He said. Quipp and Ryan then headed back to their dorms, wondering what they should do next: Go find a job, practice with the others, or study for the entrance exams that began the 2nd week of school.

I'll move on with a good amount of people say stuff about their rivals and etc.

When Joseph Michaels walked into the Vancouver College Mendehals stadium he smiled a huge smile. "I'm in baseball heaven" he muttered to himself. "Yeah......" whispered his best friend Milton. Milton was Joseph's best friend and was very shy. Michael instantly spotted his rival Bell. "Uhg Bells is here" grumbled Joseph. "Um....just try to.....uh....not....like....try.....to ignore him" studdered Milton. They both walked over to were the team was and began introductions. As they met there new teamates Joseph thought "were the future of this team lets go out there and win a championship!!!!"

Jeff Bagwell Jr. strolled into the Round Rock Express team room with a confident look on his face. He was one of the top prospects in the nation and everyone knew it. He spotted his friend gunninghome sitting in a corner and pulled up a chair next to him. Him and gunninhome had been friends since Kindergarden but gunninhome had been overshadowed by his friend for as long as he could remember since Jeff was the son of a future Hall-of-Famer....

All right, this is a long one...

When Ffgtfgtr arrived at the famed Vancouver Mendenhals' clubhouse, he could barely suppress a smile. "This place is huge!" was his first thought, naturally. After seeing Evan Longoria, their manager, however, he just HAD to get his autograph. Unfortunately for him, everyone else HAD to get his autograph too. "Figures..." he muttered, "I'll just do it later." Ffgtfgtr was pretty quiet unless he was with his friends. Then he could make a racket. He was also a good Trash Talker, and he loved that "quality" about him. He wasn't exactly a top prospect, as Baseball America didn't even list him in their Top 250 High School Prospects, but he had been a good baseball player back in his hometown of Norfolk, Virginia, though he chose to attend Hickory High School, where his hero David Wright went. In his senior year, he was practicing, as he does every day for at least an hour, when he saw a man with sunglasses and a sports jacket sitting right behind home plate, in the bleachers. "Holy crap, is that a scout?" he thought, as he blasted another ball over the center field fence. "Oh shoot, I've gotta get to pitching now." He devoted 1/3 of his time each to batting, fielding and pitching, and a friend or the coach usually helped him out. He started throwing, and he immediately felt his splitter and his shuuto, a pitch he had learned about from a Japanese player he had met, breaking a little more than usual. His pitches didn't break that much, but they could break enough to fool a major league batter, and he mixed them up really well. His favorite strategy was the splitter-two seamer combo, which screwed up batters so much, he thought about naming it. But then something strange happened, at least to him. The supposed scout, who had been jotting down notes the past half hour, came walking toward Ffgtfgtr, and introduced himself. He said that he was from Vancouver University, and that he would like to see him on the Mendenhals come next season. Keeping his best poker face, Ffgtfgtr accepted, knowing the Mendenhals' reputation, but he knew the journey from Virginia to Vancouver would be long and exhausting.
Now, though, he had finally made it, and was enjoying every minute.
