And guess who's got him on his fantasy team. He'll have a great year now that he's in a hitters park.

Yeah.

How about those Stinkees allowing 14 runs in the 2nd last night? AND the Pirates winning 10-0? Great day! :D Oh, and those Penguins now have a 2-1 lead. :)

That's impossible, not just because the Yankees aren't in it (haha), but you don't have 1 game play offs when two teams are tied for first in the division and which ever one loses the division will be the wild card. It's done by tie-breaking then. What it is used for is when 2 teams are tied for 1 play-off spot and 1 will not make it (I wish Power Pros realized that and didn't knock my team out of the playoffs in My Life when they were tied with another).

Then how do they determine playoff seeding?

The wild card team plays the team with the best record in its league. If they're in the same division, the wild card plays the team with the second best record.

An example of a one-game playoff was used to determine the 1999 NL wild card. The Mets and Reds were tied for the highest record among second place teams. The Mets beat the Reds to become the wild card. The game was considered the 163rd of the regular season. They faced the D'backs in the Division Series because they could not face the Braves, who had the highest record among the division winners.

An example of the tie-breaking procedure came in 2001 in the NL Central. The Astros and Cards had identical records at the end of the season. There were both going to the postseason anyway, as their record was better than any of the other teams that didn't win the division. The division was awarded to the Astros by virtue of their head-to-head record against the Cards (9-7), which happened to be determined on the last day of the season. Had the Cards won that game, there are further obscure tie-breaking rules that I don't believe have been necessary as yet.

The padres just swept the phillies, they're beating some good teams
The pads and phils series reminds me of the marlins and nats series with the padres being the marlins

And that's good, I like the royals

Yeah, and the Pirates swept the Marlins. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! THE APOCOLYPSE IS COMING! :eekdance:

Also, he's going to be exposed to waivers (I think).

No team would ever expose a former 2 time 19 game winner to waiver no matter how bad he is playing.
