My cousin is a Brave's fan and I know a good amount about them so I guess they're a team to root for

But I'm so happy! The Red Sox game was postponed to tommorow at 4:00, now I get to actually see the whole game

It's never easy to pitch vs the rangers but the way Lee pitched was brutal

Well let's not go overboard on Lee and Sabathia, first game. Maybe the O's will be a surprise, alot of people said they could be.

Sabathia put up a similar opening day start last year, but maybe its just a slow start

Yeah, atrocious way to start the season for Sabathia. Truly disgraceful that he throws a wild pitch with two on (one got a hit, one was on because of a walk) and sends them both into scoring position. Worst part was that it was in the beginning of the game, when he's not fatigued at all and ready to go. Atrocious.

Just remember that last year he started out 1-5 and ended up decent, so...you don't know yet.

Now all the "experts" are going to be pouncing on him like vultures over a dead elephant (the only simile I could think of).

SI Kids sucks with their prediction this year:
Phillies in 3rd in the East?
Blue Jays in last?
Astros in 2nd? (Sorry Lance, but come on.)

By the way, the Dodgers' pitching isn't that good, you know. All the hype around Manny is uncalled for as well.
Behind Billingsley, they have Kuroda, who's pretty good, but who else?
Kershaw isn't a sure bet, and no way Jason Schmidt will have a "major impact if he is fully recovered..."
As for hitting, Hudson and Furcal, while good now, are aging fast, and Loney is not a very good option.
Who's their third baseman? Casey Blake? He fits well with Hudson and Furcal, but with less speed, slightly more power.
Come on...

HEY!!!! Actually, I love it when everyone underrates the 'Stros. It makes us look so much better when we make a mad dash for the Wild Card in September.

Yeah, Astros are a very interesting team. Every team in the NL Central is an interesting team. Every team in the AL Central is an interesting team. In the AL East? They just suck. j/k
