As good as my team was, it probably would have been better if I was actually there to draft. (kicking myself/computer for not drafting Derek Lowe while he was still available) and I have 4 all-star first basemen. Shoot. Ah well, I guess I'll have to hope I can get trades.

btw, everyone needs to set their smack talk.
it's better that way.
then we can make a poll for best smack talk, which would be awesome.
we couldn't vote for ourselves, either.

My big problem was that my auto-draft list wasn't my order of players, it was reminders to myself catagorized in sections. Well I definetly have the best starting pitching, but thats about it. I mean the only good offensive players I have are Ichiro (who is great), Brad Hawpe, Vernon Wells, Posada and Jeter (I should put Cano in there, though he is risky. I still took him and planned to get him without waisting an early draft pick). I have some guy called Connor Jackson on first base and Edward Encancion on third. I have better back ups then starters for third between Tejada and Alex Gordon.

My rotation is practically a dream rotation though, with Johan as my ace, then CC Sabathia (he'll get a lot of run support and wins), Roy Halladay, Jake Peavy, then Webb/Lackey. I have the 4 best pitchers and possibly the fifth best in the game. My closer is the guy who I still think hast the best stuff, Mariano, and Kerry Wood is set-up.

As back-up outfielders I have Abreu, Swisher, Ibanez, a guy named Corey Heart and Chase Headly. I also have backs ups of my likely first base starter Paul Konerko and a third base who might start for me called Ian Stweart. He has a lot of potential so depending on how he starts the season, I may start him. If Cano really screws up, I have Akimori Iwamura, and I have Yunel Escobar and Jose Lopez as extra back-ups.

My projection is that I'll win ERA, Wins, Saves, and Strike Outs at least. I probably won't win any offensive categories, though I could and I think probably will win fielding percentage with a good fielding catcher, a golden glove short stop, one of the best fielding outfielders of all time (Jorge), good fielding pitchers, Cano, and Vernon Wells. Now that I've evaluated, not too bad, but I may be in the market for a new third basemen or first basemen, if anyone's interested.

you could trade some pitching for a great bat that you need.

You really need to change the stats. Perfect games and No hiters are so rare, with perfect games thrown less then every 5 seasons. No hitters are usually thrown twice and its unfair to judge a whole stat based on one game. Same with cycles. At least don't have no-hitters and perfect games. I'd change it to on base percentage or just get rid of it (though on base percentage is important). Maybe you could replace them with
K/9 Strikeouts per Nine Innings
K/BB Strikeout to Walk Ratio
SVP%

my team, then press details on the trade, and there you can accept, decline, or make a counteroffer (reject and put your offer in)
