I was curious which ghost event has the chance to award star. I have been s/l on the "go to park" re for a couple days now thinking it was the correct one, and no luck. I got the initial re where you meet the ghost, the 2nd where i upset her, and am reloading on the one where i go to the park to clear everything up. Any input would be appreciated.

I was curious about the dr. goodjob event as well. I read that it can be s/l'd for during basically any RE period, and was double checking to make sure that was still the case.

These are the Last 2 things im really wanting for my genius pitcher, then i will put him up if anyone is interested. He will be a good pitcher/great hitter setup.

- Someone else needs to confirm this, but I believe once you upset the ghost in the street (and save), all hope of getting Star is lost.

- I made detailed player logs for my last 5 or 6 success players and am 100% sure Dr. GJ can appear during any period when a RE is eligible, and under any circumstance. The odds of getting him are higher when there are fewer RE available (last few weeks of game, end of Season 1) and lower when there are more (early stretch of Season 2). For example, when I was making my most recent player I saw GJ a total of 5 times during the last four weeks of success mode, beginning Yr 2 between Wk2 and Wk 3 of August, and extending through the last possible week beyond. The reason he showed up so frequently was because I had exhausted all of the possible RE's by S/L for them earlier in the game. Unfortunately, I failed all of them and am riding a serious GJ cold streak. I have failed at least 12 operations in a row now.

Really? I'm yet to fail him in 6/6 or something like that, I just don't get him that often.

The ghost is not the only way to get "star". You could date the other girl (Not patty or lucy) and in a event, you could get "star". I'm like 0/2 in goob jobs :( Yea the one time i got him in 07, i didn't have a challange.

thanks for the info, on about 18 hours of constant s/l now and still no star or dr. gj. Just unlucky at this point.. (got a genius, so cant complain much)

Just to be clear, which one of the ghost events allow you to obtain star? When you go to make her happy in the park or the one following that? Or is there another step that i failed when i made her upset? I guess, a quick description of the events when done properly would help most.

I have already completed the patty arc, so wasnt sure if I could progress emily to the point of star or not. Anyone have some info on this or how far into the arc you can go after completing Patty?

Again, all help is appreciated.

I can confirm that star is still possible at the end of the 3rd RE even after pissing off the ghost during the second re. It took me over 300 attempts, but I finally got it. Would agree that upsetting her must change the odds for sure.

Wow, you're a DIEHARD S/L-er! And Star isn't that good! Especially in Season! No offense... Is this for Life mode or something?

Yeah, he was built specifically for Life mode. I usually edit/arrange existing chars for season. I wasn't die hard enough to hang in there for a successful signed Dr. Goodjob, but all in all it came out how i wanted. I have seen many better characters, but if anyone wants I can figure out how to put him up.

Final Result:

Sartori Genius Gyro Pitcher/Slugger

Pitching
Was going for 180+ for both ctrl and stam, but wasnt able to get the Dr.
105 mph
165 Ctrl (B)
165 Stam (A)
Dual Form Lefty - 3qtrs/Sidearm
Original Pitch: Breaking Curve "Shocker"
2 pitches each direction, Levels 3-5
Gyroball/Star/Dr k. and I'm pretty sure everything else but Intimidator

Hitting:
Traj: 4
Contact: 11 (c)
Power 180 (A)
Run Speed: 15 (A)
Contact Htr/Power Htr/Spray Htr/Hot Htr/Rally Htr/Tough Out/Great IF Htr/Bases Clearer/Refined

Fielding:
Didn't work much on this. everything else is 9 rating (D) i think. Picked up Gold Glover/1h catch and maybe a few other abilities.

I was really excited when i found this site. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to contribute here.

I will grab a pic of his password tomorrow, and no worries.. He is playing for the Diamondbacks. Currently leading my first season HR race.

I got him 1/1 times and got an abilitie, only good small ball.

This may sound noobish, but what does RE stand for?
