I have absolutely no clue on how to do this during Sittch's ninja training, but have completed before. NEED HELP.

He's serious. I use the GC Controller because it's easier to grip then the Wii Remote, probably since I'm used to it more.

Yeah, I do spam "A" a lot, but nothing good seems to go on when I'm doing so. I'm getting roughly 20-29 blue stars each time and never get past this part.

Try varying your timing on the mashing.

Alternatively I haven't tested this yet but heard that it works:
