I went to start a new guy today, and he came out so bad, I had to dump him. It's my first time really giving up on a guy before I even try anything with him.

at least he had good sense....a trip or two to the doc would have fixed toothache and insomina. coulda tried his as a closer.

Lefty? Cause lefties have generally lower stats.

Gd Sense players sometimes have lower stats than normal, but I didn't expect them to be this low, and with all those bad abilities.

I always reload for a decent player, so I would have dumped this guy the moment I saw him.

I'd call him an epic fail.
Shoo-in to get the not enough points ending.
Or lose a ton of games.

Yup he was a lefty dual style pitcher.

I probably would have just started again as I try to go for insane characters.

However, For a left those are not that bad stats. THey always start low unless pr sense or genius. Depending on my mood I might have played him. Having the good sense means every point you get at the beginning is valuable. It saves you time having to get Patty, Stitch or Frank to give you gd sense. If you train alot at the beginning and get a GR you could have a fairly good pitcher by his first game. Since you don't have to save points until you get good sense you can boost things quickly. If I am not mistaken at that level with good sense the stamina cost is 2 where it is 3 on normal. So 60 points nets a 30 boost where only a 20 normally so that you can be higher by the first game. THe only problem is seeing the doc. YOu have to see her at least once. Insomnia is sometimes cured by events likes Frank so you could wait on that and just reload when you get penalized for it. Laziness can be cured by buying the medicine for it the first time you go to Bison. Toothache effects str training in practice and games so you need to see the doc for this. Until you see her just train your breaking ball up.

The reason I would have reloaded is that it is easy in the game to get gd sense if you know how to get it. So I like to start with regular and poor sense start.
