Sorry for starting that. At least I actually made a somewhat-on-topic post!

I'm lefty too!


I'm usually a pretty durable person, Also I can get careless andget injured, usually in my left leg....

Don't bring that up again... we've been trying to eliminate it ever since people took my small comment too far...

I've been quite lucky injury wise so I have no horror stories to tell. A little over a year ago I injured my foot playing soccer but carried on playing through the pain because I wanted to be a manly man. Unfortunately every time I played I just kept on making the injury worse to the point where I could barely walk around

After that I decided to give in and take some rest, it was annoying not being able to play anything for a while but luckily it didn't do any permanent damage and hasn't affected my speed or running in any way but y'know, it happened and I consider it a warning never to take risks with injuries.

Moral of the story: Most of you already have more sense than I did but always let an injury heal no matter how small it is or how much you want to play. This won't make me sound too popular and I know people should give their all to the team no matter what but if i'm pitching and feel any sort of pain or soreness in my arm I always request to be taken out (though this has only happened twice), I know that makes me sound like a wuss but I want to keep on playing beyond that game.

I almost did did something like that. In my middle school years, I played soccer and was dang good goalie. I jammed my finger 2 days before a big game. It was pretty bad, so I kept trying to play through the pain during the practices and I was this close [] to playing. I ended up not playing.

Just sharing a simliar story.


And speaking of your injury and working out. I made someone's day yesterday saying I was going to work out and I'd see her around. This was on a different forum... I digress however.

Well, in wrestling today, we were playing dodgeball where one team is on their knees throwing while the other team dodges. I threw, and on the follow through, i jammed my thumb inot the ground! Luckily, it's a wrestling mat, and its not too bad. hurts a but to hit the spacebar, though

That's what I call a spite of bad luck! Hope it get's better soon. Thumbs can be the most painful and unlucky thing to jam.

Yeah, i actually felt more stupid than anything, especially since it was our first practice. But we were on our knees, so that's my excuse

heh, thats sucks, anyways i wrestled my friend, he's like 10 pounds bigger than me, and he claimed MUCH stronger, even with my bad back, I charged, he push off, but he saw it coming, so he managed to get me on the ground, but not on shoulders, so he went for the flip, but i did a back-rool, put him in a scissors, flipped him, then did a lock-down scissors move, which is my fav, so i'm known for it! I pinned him 5 times in a row, it was awesome!

Yeah, um, none of that is legal in actual wrestling. I can't imagine you pinned him correctly either. No offense, i'm not bragging. I pinned a guy in 31 seconds.

Yeah, I know that all wasn't legal, we played 1 game by the rules, my fastest pin was somewhere around 55 seconds.

Meh, it's cool. I like wrestling mostly because we do alot of conditioning to get a lot stronger. I'm really not that great.
