no, not even! odawali had something on that. he threw every pitch high and STILL got it! I guess it's because he didn't have a single pitch hit low in the zone... :lol:

it was either that or dr. k, which i can get from another surprise bag that i'll get from patty soon.
maybe spin too.

At least in 07, i found spin to be a good ability. Don't know about 08 as much. You are really lucky.

At least in 07, i found spin to be a good ability. Don't know about 08 as much. You are really lucky.

Spin is still a pretty good ability. It seems as effective as it was last year but i haven't done any serious testing yet.

i had to pick my jaw (no pun intended) up off the ground)

Edit: after S/Ling about 10 times from the surprise bag from patty, i got my 1st ever...

well, you always have to say whether it's intended with this game.

Update (from last night, 9:20): KN now 6, got rising slider named (as all my orig pitches are) moneyball.
CTRL and STAM are low D's, going to bring up CTRL a bit more, and top speed is 85 (but i'll work on that too)
Jan. week 3.
also, i think i got spin 4 too...

too early to see how he will finish though, since it's only january in the game, but still...
I got Good Delivery from Ben giving me the gift for patty!
I got Good Pickoff very early, as well as good sense (from patty date)

BTW, I have Contact Hitter, so I could also raise his CON to a decent level, even though his team is the A's.

Yes, I gambled for Con. Hitter, it was about a 50% chance.

Sweet! Only one flaw I can think of:
The ORIG will be better if it is faster, because the movement will throw off other people and the speed won't give them a change to recover. A KN is better slower, though. So TOP SPD may or may not be good to boost. If you want to boost it, you should make it either really fast or don't boost it.

Other than that, this guy is great!
