I should have DS install the mod that allows me to tinker with post counts. Then for every meaningless post, the mod's would dock ye 2.

I loved messing up people's post count when they loved posting for the count, on the 2 forums I admined on and the couple I modded.

me? i have about 5 or 6 meaningful posts. I'm just kinda the comic relief guy for after a hard day at work/school.

Yes. That would actually be a good idea. But then some of the posters here would have -4400 posts...

I would have -1438. as of now.

Just deleting some of the posts that say"yes" or "no" would be better. Then maybe knock some off if it happens a lot with the paticular person.aka me

I think deleting of any posts would take way too much time and who can say whether a post is meaningful or not.

It is the age old adage, "One man's junk is a another man's treasure". Even the words "Yes" or "No" can have a huge impact on the meaning within the post.

Also, the only meaning that post count has is the number of times you have posted on the site, pretty simple. Spending any time on reducing them and trying to add meaning to the post count would be a waste of a persons time.

We oughta have some kind of reputation meter.....

It would be hard to grade it, since the mods can't look at EVERY. SINGLE. POST.

So, who would be the sinless one to judge everyone else?

But anybody could add to it. Not just mods.
