As much as I like the Phillies, I think that it would be even more awesome if the Rays win the World Series to complete the best feel-good story since 1969. Rays in 7 over the Phils.

But if the Red Sox beat the Rays like they did the Indians in '07, it's PHILLIES ALL THE WAY!!! :)

AND THE RAYS DOMINATE THE RED SOX IN ANOTHER HIGH SCORING GAME! Longoria and Upton have both tied the record for most homers in the postseason.

5 by Barry Bonds(2002), Tim Salmon(2002), and Carlos Beltran(2004).

Which in my mind means he's tied with Tim Salmon and Carlos Beltran. For career play-off homers (Manny Ramirez leads with 27 I think) Guys like Mantle or Ruth aren't there because there used to be just the world series. Its why Manny Ramirez (as good of a play-off player as he is) has the most home-runs in the play-offs where Mantle is pretty close (23 I believe?) and had less them half the games each round.

Mantle is projected to have had 43 if he hit them at the same pace as his WS HRs.

Wow, really? That's incredible. That's no insult to Manny, He is still probably in the top 10 all time in the post-season, but guys like Mantle are even better. I wonder how many Ruth or Gherig were projected to have?

Gah, I hate the phillies. Sorry Torre.

I think that everyone whose not a Phillies fan will be rooting for the feel-good Rays. Same with the Rays Vrs. Red Sox and Rays Vrs. White Sox.
