Has any one collected all of the baseball cards in the game?
I am about 8 cards away from collecting all of them.

I did in 07. Seems like a huge waste though.

i did as well, did nothing. i did it after i bought everything else, so I thought, 'Why not?'

Same here. I got them all last year after everything else.

I got them all last year, so i imagine that they don't do anything thsi year, either.

I think I got all of them last year once I had bought literally everything else in the game. What I would do (since cards are so cheap) is buy 800 cards. If there all doubles, you get the last 8 cards haha.

It doesn't let you buy more when you get them all.

I'm just saying in theory if you have all but 8 untill you have 8. While one of the 800 cards would probably be one of your players, oits unlikely they all would be.

The baseball cards were the last things I brought last year

I collected all of them in this year's version and last year. I as well did the baseball cards after everything else. Lance Berkman was the last one I needed and finally got it last week.

I like getting them just for the fun of it.

800 cards is 2 2/3 trips to the shop. since you can buy 10 packs per visit and 3 diferent types, 800(cards needed)/(10 (cards)*10(packs)*3(types of cards))= 2 2/3 the cleaned-up version is:
800/(10*10*3)=2.6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666667
