I have pretty much confirmed that Gyroball and Intimidator can NOT be acheived with the same character. I have gotten to the point where I must choose between making Lucy my girl or visiting Patty for the last event about 7-8 times.

I tried doing each one first, but they both cancel the other out.

So very dissappointing!

Why can't there be a Gyrodator?!

Perhaps getting Gyroball in success mode, and playing a couple years through My Life for intimidator would work to get a new password? I know I can get Intimidator on fielders in fairly short time in My Life, but havent played it through as a pitcher- are pitchers able to advance their intimidator bar during My Life mode by having high strikeout games?

ive done it with a succes guy before, i think its a 10k game but i cant be sure

Yeah it might take some extra work, but it seems to be the only way to get both abilities on one pitcher in this years game.

I think strikeouts would get Dr.K.

I met all those requirements and haven't seen him by going Downtown. (I have Jaw)

Sorry for bumping an old topic. But once you get intimidator/gyroball, is there any reason to date patty any further? I got intimidator before the 1st AAA game and it made me miss the first game. It'll make me feel good to know I don't ever have to see her again. I think she's been cheating on me with Terry, who also has intimidator... Oh well, she'll know how that feels once she finds out about Terry and Isabelle.

Getting too far in the arc is partially a bad thing. Every time you go there she assumes you want a date. So, no more hot dogs or working for you!

I don't know if this has really been answered but I've been trying to get a new pitch and get the gyro ball is that possible? I can trigger the black dogs event but by Jan. 1 I'm still just dating patty and Ben doesn't get sick.. any suggestions?

You have to go to the street location,and choose "go into town" option instead of "go see Jaw" option. You should see Ben if you have the requirements met, and havent already triggered the black dog RE. Save before going to the street, and reload if hes not there. If you cant get him to show one week, do something else, then save and try again the next week. I havent ever had a problem getting him to show at the street.

it is easy to get both, be patient. giving patty a gift on XMAS is very helpful (the one ben gives you to give to patty after he notices you 2 are dating).
also, have you gotten the event with marvin giving you the black dog?
From December to the end of January is the perfect time to catch up on both of them.
Finally, when you get your eval high enough, you can also just fool around the rest of the time.
