* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

before i add your babe ruth, how is his Good Strike zone?

Is it all great, or do you not try to get the strike zone full? If you see my reggie jackson, he has all of his good strike zone covered.

would be nice to know, thanks.

consider it done.

Do the hot zones really do much?

The hot zones are for sim games. If you sim a season with Ultimate he'll K around 100 times due to him only having one hot zone, whereas if you sim Gaia or Jackson they'll do much better. I think it basically affects how the computer chooses pitches to swing at, or how successful they'll be swinging at a given pitch.

Good question, honestly it isn't something I pay much attention to. I'll go back and check my players tomorrow and let you know (heading to bed in a few, too lazy/tired to fire up the Wii tonight).

Im doing Babe Ruth, but as a pitcher and as a first basemen. I will give him one good pitch and 2 more ok ones. but will not have any top speed. Now for the batting ill put him as best as I could get him in power and contact.

coming soon.

Here's a pitcher I just completed. He's pretty nasty. I chose a random name and it gave me Ian Snell. He started w/ Good Sense so i continued.

105mph, 7 kn, 7 sld, 7 CB, 2 2sfb, A(172) stam, B(162) cntrl, and almost every blue ability.

**HIS APPEARANCE DOES NOT MATCH THE REAL IAN SNELL**

Babe Ruth

July 11, 1914 his first year in the majors. I made him as best I could as a pitcher, first basemen and outfielder.

For more info on his years with the Red Sox's and the Yankees.

Very nice job on the Babe! Just enough power, arm strength, and break to his pitches to make him a stud on a NL team.

Well done bro.

It'd be wicked cool if he was a catcher, too (he was in high school before pitching) - then his name bar would be all four colors.

I just finished a catcher today (I'll post him 2morow) - I gave him 2nd position 3B and RF (to utilize him arm strength and poor speed) - because I had leftover points - Only wanted B hitting, A fielding. He's pretty good - 3 TRJ, B contact, B power, C run speed, and perfect Arm, fielding, and resistance. Trash Talk, Grt Catcher, Good Block, Throwing, Durability, Consistency, Poise (extra points), Aggresive Stl/Run, Patient Hit, Refined, Tough Out, Tough Runner, Contact Hitter, Spray Hitter, Push Hitter, Firstball Hitter, Gd Pinch Hitter, Clutch 4, VS lefty 4, and few others.

thanks Timpson

I really wanted to make him as close as he was back in the day with the Red Sox's and Yankee's. He pitched and hit. He pitched through 1914 to 1921 then again in 1930 and 1933. Pitching 6 years with Boston and 4 years with NY. He was 19 his rookie year so thats why I made him that way on success mode. He played OF and 1B. I did the best as I could, so thanks for the comments.

Anyone about to use Babe Ruth on their team? Im about to start my 2008 season and Im going to add him with the other success players I found here.

If you do, let me know how he does on your team.

Very nice Babe Ruth!

I finally had a chance to look at mine again, the good strike zone is just middle away.

More guys:
The pitchers all have consistency and all guys have few green abilities. Didn't take pictures of those screens because they tell so little.
