Update:

I still haven't slept. It's been a little over 32 hours now, and even then I was coming off of just 6-7 hours the previous night. I'm somehow managing to run on adrenaline for now (which I have a lot of because WE *(censored)* WON THE BUCKET), but I'll definitely be turning in early tonight.

In addition, it appears my friend didn't get off so easy after all, as his dad's taken his phone and he's been forbidden to talk to me in any way (we have workarounds; he changed my name in his contacts, and we still have the other friend to kinda communicate through if necessary). I felt really guilty about this whole thing all day, but my friend told me that it was mostly their fault, since they had really, really wanted to come see me. I'm still quite a bit on edge about the whole thing, but I'm starting to realize that maybe it's not so bad after all -- he'll be able to text me when he does have his phone, and given that I won't have a car until next year anyways, I doubt we would've had many chances to hang out.

I'm just a bit mad at everything right now. It's nothing against any of you or any of my other friends, but these guys are undoubtedly the best friends I've ever had, and I don't want to lose that...

I hear ya, man. We all, for the most part, have friends outside of this forum, and that's perfectly fine!

I just wish that someday, in the somewhat-distant future, that some of us could hold a get-together and meet face-to-face, too. I think that'd be kinda awesome, under the right circumstances. But right now, it isn't that feasible. Maybe in the future. Just spitballing, more or less.

I agree, I think this would be awesome, it'd be nice to get some of the not so active members involved as well.

The only one would ever be me, jag, and phillies. That would be hillarious, but we are the only ones in the same state.

So the thing with my friends hasn't been too bad actually, while I haven't texted the one dude yet (because I want to be super careful not to get him into further trouble), I've been texting the other friend, and they can both kinda keep me in the loop by posting stuff on social media which really helps.

However, I've come down with a pretty bad illness, I've had stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting (including all over my bed), and possibly chills and dehydration (It's hard to drink anything when you're throwing most of it back up)... I'm going to the health center as soon as they open, but that isn't for two more hours, and I'm pretty much just hoping to make it that long without any further incidents. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, as I have a ticket to tonight's IU-UNC basketball game, and I planned on going with a friend to the Mac Miller concert tomorrow night, but if I continue to be this sick, I don't think I'll be able to make it to either one...
