Hi everyone! As you may or may not know, I am a producer and part of the Prism Tribe hip-hop collective. Tomorrow morning I will be releasing my fourth project titled SPOOKY SONGS. In advance of the release, I have been given the opportunity to call in to my friend’s radio show to talk about and promote the project, as well as to premiere at least one track from the project.

A guy just came to my door with his dad. He had the wrong house. His dad had a walker and was wearing a veteran's cap from WWII (!!). Turns out he meant to visit his son/the veterans grandson next door and just undershot by one.

I asked the vet where he served - which theater. He was in the south pacific - I thought he said "himms" which I also thought was a destroyer, but now i can't find it on wikipedia, odd. Anyway, he was old and extremely lucky to still be around, figuring he had to be born in 1928 or earlier.

The US has an endless supply of courage when we are pushed. We abolished slavery, won WWII on two fronts, enacted civil rights and voter protections...given time and pressure, we will do what's right. This is a dark time for our democracy and our leadership, but when faced with the darkest times, we rose and triumphed. People say that youngsters today (18-36) don't have the same spine, or courage, or commitment that earlier generations did.

We've got to prove them wrong.

aight so i'm noticing a lot of "jokes" between jag and lgm recently that are crossing the line a lil bit so lemme speak my mind real quick

y'all calling shit "autistic" like that's a *(censored)* insult ain't gonna fly with me. y'all might not know this but i was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder called Asperger's Syndrome when i was 5, and to this day i still notice it affecting me in various ways, mostly in social situations. earlier this year i was too scared of talking to someone random that i couldn't even ask them if i could borrow an empty chair to sit in with my friends. like *(censored)* this is real and NOT some joke

like, we gotta draw a line somewhere, not like as a forum but as a society. saying shit like "that's gay" or "that's retarded" or whatever shouldn't fly, just like calling someone a racial/homophobic slur or insulting someone for their religion or political beliefs shouldn't fly. you can still say it, but i absolutely have the right to call you out and say that what you're doing is marginalizing a Real Issue, and that can only make the problem worse. calling gay kids "faggots" will only increase the rate of lgbt+ suicide. calling muslims "isis" will only make them hate "us" more (that seems rly awkwardly worded but it's fine i guess)

and like i don't even get why there's hostility in the first place. y'all are two of the very, VERY few people who still enjoy this game. (I think.) and instead of letting that bring us together and trying to support our small community, we're constantly at each other's throats? that's *(censored)* stupid. (but it's not retarded. don't say that shit.)

in conclusion, it's very late and i'm kinda tired. *(censored)* @ me with your opinions, i don't care at this point.

I wholeheartedly agree with this post, I think it needed to be said, because Ive been feeling the same way about these "jokes". I'd love for LGM to tone it down a bit
