Cliff Lee is the one I want to see in the AL, just because he was playing in the AAA last year....
And I think that Tim Lincecum deserves it in the NL.....he has a great era..and he is very close to Webb in wins.....and since Webb has been "off" the last few games....Tim could win it...

In the AL you can't leave out Dice-K, he should be in that race.

Well I don't think that is going to happen....(sadly...he is one of my favorite players)
Cliff Lee has 5 more wins...
14 more strikeouts...
And a lower era...

But you never know.....

I don't think there's any competition in the AL, Dice-K has a lower win percentage, much less innings, less Ks, much less wins, much high ERA (not that it's high or anything, Cliff Lee is just that good. I like Cliff Lee, the Indian's have at least 1 thing to keep there hopes alive).

Dice-K still has like 2 starts left, you never know, he's 8-0 on the road!

Remember last year? Josh Beckett had a great season, probably a bit better than C.C but C.C still won CY Young award.

CC had more SO, made the diff. Dice-K is clearly out. The max he can do is finish 19-2? But Cliff has a better ERA and SO.

Cliff has been the only bright spot for his team, though.
without lee, the indians would be over 25 games under .500.

That's not true, the number 5 starter to replace him would have at least 1 win. But he has made a tremendous effect. While I don't think he's that ood of a pitcher and is just having an incredible year, I think he is an exellent pitcher and won't simply go away next year.

All it takes is one bad start for Lee.

I think he might start out the season, sadly, like C.C. did this year, BAD. Then he will play like there is a chip on his shoulder and pitch great ball.

Erm....22-3? Dice-K 19-2 (Max) The win% is clearly in favor to Lee. But will he get a unanimous discision?
