IDEA!

Maybe if you get all 10 both times on the dynamic vision training you can get gyroball. Think about it... You would get pretty dizzy.

I am dizzy just thinking about how many S/Ls it would take to get all 10 on BOTH dynamic vision tests... ive gotten 10 only once out of probably 50 tries or more. I usually get 7 or 8 if I get lucky and guess once its going too fast to really see.

I never got 10 and I once reloaded about a hundred times to see if there was a pattern.

Anyway, going back to the gyroball and sittch's training..

Im not sure about this but.. has anyone tried to NOT participate in sittch's training at all? and visit him only the week before he leaves? I know this advise sounds weird but.. maybe this is worth the experiment because every success mode character we had went through sittch's training... and it just went inside my mind.. what if me try to "go against" what we usually do in the past characters in success mode?

Back in 2007, i never knew there was a storyline that Alvin can stay on the team.. because i always pick willy's bat or become team captain for 11 characters that i never knew a storyline of Alvin staying or Dad's orig pitch in the game.. i only discovered it when i decided to change my routine..

maybe changing some of our usual routines in 2008 can help us get that gyroball?

Even if I honestly find it, I still can't get it on the internet, I have no camera.

Also, nobody has the proof that I DON'T have it, execpt Cownip he knows whether or not I know, but he won't tell.

That might work, but pretty unlikely.

I haven't played 2008 enough to give any good guesses, but one angle to consider is the symmetry between fielder and pitcher abilities.

Specifically, in MLB PP 2007, events that gave you Clutch 4 as a batter gave you RISP 4 as a pitcher; Power Hitter corresponded to Fastball Life 4; Contact Hitter to Spin 4; etc ,etc.

The Gyroball events in 2007 gave Cannon Arm (theme: more juice on throws) or Grt Infield Hitter (theme: arrives quicker to destination) for hitters, so any event in 2008 that gives those abilities for fielders could be the elusive Gyroball event.

Regarding Goodjob, I think it's unlikely that he'd be the source of huge stat boosts AND a rare ability; from a game design standpoint you'd think it's either one or the other. I also don't recall any version of Powerpros where Goodjob events gave a significant ability, other than Good Sense...Gyroball is USUALLY a rare RE or reward for completing a g/f arc.

Because that's how we got the Gyroball in 2007.. (in a Roller coaster ride)

Hey hey guys, lay off. That thread was closed for a reason, there's no reason to continue the fight. Max's (and the other mods) job is hard enough, do you need to give him another problem to deal with. Yeah there were some questionable things he did back there, but no one was free of fault on that thread and almost everyone said some nasty things. Anyway, it doesn't matter what happened or whose at fault, but lets let it die out and put it behind us. Dr. Mario (I was about to say Marvin card) is more then welcome to help us out as the extra hand never helps. So please don't restart the fight and get the thread closed and start more drama. Let's just try to tackle this problem and see if we can finally find how to get the elusive Gyro Ball.
By the way, has anyone tried looking at past Japanese games (who can read Japanese). Maybe this is based on past plots and we can use those to find how to find the Gyro-Ball. Also, perhaps you can only get it in My-Life?

I don't remember if I saw it or intimidator and or Dr.K, I just remember seeing what I think is two of these. I'm pretty certain it isn't Gryo-Bal. I didn't get any, I just came closer. I'll check and say what it was in a half hour or so.

Although I don't recall ever getting grt inf htr anywhere, so that could be the one we're looking for.

Hmmm, what if we try to get top spd prac. to lvl 9? Gyroball has to do with the Fastball. Or maybe BB prac. Beacause Gyroball has a ball in it.

Although I don't recall ever getting grt inf htr anywhere, so that could be the one we're looking for.

I would try it, but like the original pitch in '07, the thief is one event I'll probably never get.
