So, I think I've mentioned this predicament I've had before, but I wanted to get your guys' advice on it...

Currently, in my bedroom, there is a small picture frame with a picture of a girl who was my best friend in High School. She gave it to me as a Christmas present a few years ago because we were such good friends (presently, the only one from school to actually give me a present). That girl graduated with my class, and soon afterward got married and is now currently expecting a baby.

As for me, as it well established by now, I'm single, and currently trying to look for a girlfriend. If I do get one, and invite her over to my place, I'm worried that the girlfriend would look at the picture very curiously. So, my question is: what should I do about the picture? Get rid of it somehow, try to tell her why it's there, or something else? This has been something that's been weighing on my mind for a while, and I want to know what you guys think I should do.

It's like we're the same person

Is it just her? If yes, then I'd probably move it before a girl comes over

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

I'd probably stick with what skittles said; if it's only her in the photo, then move it. If not, then I'd explain the meaning behind said photo. And hopefully the female, located within your vacancy, understands the story.

If you move it, then you don't have to explain it at all.

If you keep it where it is, you shouldn't have a hard time explaining it if a girl asked about it. And I'm assuming any girl you choose to spend your time with would be reasonable enough to understand it and not make it something it's not, a big deal.

I guess I put myself in her hypothetical shoes... I feel like it'd bug me if my sig. other had a picture of some other dude so yeah I'd prolly take it down and maybe pull it out after you get to know this hypothetical new girlfriend better.

Lol, it's a joke bro.

But there's definitely a lot more irrational women than men. Just check a feminist Twitter account.

Uh oh, the PC crowd is here. Can't take a joke...

And yes, women are more emotionally unstable than men on average. That's a *(censored)* fact. If you've stepped two feet beyond your bedroom, you would know this shit.

I absolutely can take a joke. I just prefer jokes that make me laugh. Not shitty jokes that have been told time and time again like the one you just told. Guys like Jerry Seinfeld can get away with bemoaning political correctness getting in the way of comedy, but you have absolutely not earned that right.

However the second part of your post in which you claim women being more emotionally unstable as a "fact" is the funniest thing you've ever said. So maybe you do have some comedic talent.
