the poker face thing doesn't always happen. I got it the first time then reloaded and didn't get it for the next few times.

and dunno for a batter. I reloaded 3 times and didn't get anything when I tried.

Nothing really happens. It justs like normally what happens, you eat a steak and get +3/+4 Hitting Power.

I completed all the events at the steak house including finding the legendary cow at the supermarket. This was about a month ago, so I don't remember exactly how it happened. I went to the steak house after I found the legendary cow and we went to the mountains or something to keep looking for the cow. A dog came out of nowhere and chased the woman up a tree. So when she was up in the tree she asked me to scare the dog away so that she could come down. She says she will pay you to make the dog go away ($300 or so) and then you are asked whether to help her or hold out for more money. I chose to hold out for more money and she agreed to pay me more. When she came down she gave me a surprise bag,~$500, some other smaller item, and I got stamina, technique and mentality points. I think the steak house is a great place to build pitchers because you usually get +4 or +5 stamina and some pay (~$60). I usually go there when my practice bar is full and I'm waiting for the fourth week of practice.

I've completed all the events twice and I just remembered that the first time I got Recovery, but I don't remember if it was at the supermarket or the week after.

I guess I should start putting some REs in the wiki tomorrow.

I don't know if this is rare or not, but I saw Terry when I visited the steakhouse late in the second season.
