My high school team won the district championship today, taking the semifinal game 3-2 in 11 innings on a walk-off suicide squeeze and the final 3-2 in 10 innings on a walk-off base hit.

Mark Buerhle is 10-1 with a 2.10 ERA. Like damn, Marlins could use that right now.

also, 3rd day in a row that the Phils and Mets have gone extra innings. It's a tough battle for last place.

boy I'm glad we got Aumont though. gives up a 2-run HR after the third straight day of extras (38/39 innings, 45 hours). how disappointing.
