I think my moves with Alberto regarding girls is going to become the meme of the game.

I'm actually just controlling him like I would my own life. Minus, you know, girls being into me in real life.

(That being said I actually have a crush on a couple girls at my college, so, progress?)

As for serious discussion points, just go with anything she likes, or you both know a lot about. Music, Doctor Who, and History/English classes are common conversation topics between me and the girl I like. Her ex-boyfriend is also brought up a lot because that is a enormous shit show that seeming will never end... Then again, we're really good friends (for better or for worse ) so discussion is much easier.

We warmed up for the scrimmage and then Coach Stone announced the lineup.



I was fine that my name wasn't in there, but I was the only one of us 4 friends not starting in the lineup. I saw Cassidy sitting in the stands and I hoped she wasn't disappointed that I wasn't starting.

I came in to pitch in the first inning with 2 outs after Alberto sort of fudged up the game. I got out of the runners on second and third jam in the first inning by striking the batter out. I stayed in in the second and pitched pretty well. 2 runs scored off of an error by our shortstop Peter on a throw to Marco who couldn't reach the high-thrown ball. It didn't hurt my statistics. I had to come out of the game because I hurt my elbow throwing a slurve. The trainer came to the dugout to tend to my arm and said it was nothing bad. Just elbow pain and I would need to ice it.

I was very excited to see that I was starting, however I was playing first. I was still ecstatic to see my name in the lineup.

In my first at bat, I grounded out to the first baseman. Hey, at least I made contact.

In the fourth inning I was moved into center field on short notice because Marvin got injured.

In my next at bat, Peter was on second and Barron was at first. I rolled over the first pitch on the ground to third. The third baseman tagged third and threw to first but I was safe.

I came out after that at bat, playing 4 innings, 3 at first, and 1 in center.

My nervousness showed on the field for sure. I just didn't have it today. I allowed 3 runs only getting 2 outs, throwing 26 pitches. I didn't give up any homers this time but I just didn't have my normal junk or velocity.

My next time up, I smashed a line drive to right field for a single.

In my third and final at bat, I hit a hard grounder up the middle that ricocheted off of the pitcher and went through for a single.
