Well, my former high school's first girl's basketball game is tonight, and I might do a bit of a personal play-by-play there as well. Should be fun.

Our team actually has a player that's ranked in the Top 25 players in Michigan by the Detroit News, so that's cool.

If the Texans get the first pick, I'd choose... Derek Carr, ironically. What a coincidence if that happened.

Why? Teddy Bridgewater is the next Geno Smith, and his college stats aren't super, super impressive. The only reason people knock on Carr is because of his brother, who wasn't as bad as people say he is.

Derek Carr, at best, is a 3rd-5th rounder at QB. Aren't many spectacular QBs in the draft this year.

Well, I agree with the majority that Carrie Underwood's acting left a lot to be desired, but all in all, I think it was pretty well done, despite some extreme audio compression on my local NBC station. Plus, I liked what NBC did at the beginning with all the old logos animated with the voice-over saying that something like this hasn't been done in 50+ years.

Fun fact: Ratings-wise, it tied The Big Bang Theory for the top spot on the night.

I was just saying it would be crazy to take Bridgewater over Carr. I don't know where you guys are getting these late round projections from. With Mariota going back to Oregon, Carr is still gonna be a top-10 pick

You know what, the Mountain West title game is tonight on CBS, and Fresno State and Derek Carr is playing. I'll try to watch, and form my own opinions on him.
