I thought players lose roty eligibility just by existing, even if they never get called up. No?

Call up Sweeney, keep Timpner in AAA and develop his trajectory to a 2.

I think they lose ROTY elligibility after one day of MLB service time.

I don't think you don't want to be too similar. There's a line between being influenced by something, and copying something, no matter how good that something is.

Granted, an update style on a baseball video game forum hardly applies, but it's a good life lesson none-the-less.

New York -- Nats win extra-inning thriller over division leading Mets. Michael O'Connor pitched 10 innings, but that still couldn't do the trick, as he ended up with a no decision. Oliver Perez went 12 innings for the Mets allowing 0 runs on 7 hits, getting a no decision as well. Mark Ellis went 3-6 with a double and an RBI, the only one of the game. Jose Reyes went 4-6 for the Mets.
