It's not a matter of smarts, some people just get more invested in the characters and the story and the beauty of it all than other people do.

Journey is, by far, one of the best looking games I've ever played. And, though it completely lacked any context or dialogue or anything, I felt a real connection with the one chap I was paired up with almost the whole way through.

I was honestly saddened when we were separated.
