Merluzzi might have just made his worst mess up in his career.

I was watching the 2013 Rangers play an expansion team called the Hawaii Volcanoes and some dude on the Volcanoes hit one of those deep flyballs off the end of the bat.

Merluzzi, right when the ball is hit, says, "Routine ground ball." After that, he says "This ball is crushed and it is carrying!" And then, Nelson Cruz catches it at the wall.

How in the world can Jack say it is a routine grounder when it ends up almost being a home run!?
