What I think I'll do for this, is do a full update every 3 series'. So after short updates for the next two series's there will be a full game update.

Sapporo gets necessary win
Sapporo got a very badly needed win at home against Kyoto last night. Wilson Redd would square off versus Ricardo Florimon Jr. In the first, Sapporo got a good start with RBI doubles by Yamaguchi, Dan, and Lockhart making it 4-0. In the second, Kyoto struck back with an RBI single by Sanda. In the third, Hirano jerked an RBI single to reduce the lead to 4-2. In the third, Yamaguchi hit a solo homer, his 15th, and Hakeyama roped an RBI single to make it 6-2. In the fifth with one out Florimon exited the game and Shuihara was brought in. Rin came on for the Bears in the sixth after Redd threw 5 innings. In the eighth, Ryo Kakuta came on to pitch for the Whalers and Kitoaji hit an RBI groundout off of him to make it 7-2. Sari Harnish came in to end the game in the ninth. Final: Sapporo 7, Kyoto: 2.

One day I was messing around on twitter talking with some other NPBers and players from the Bears and I saw that I had a new follower. I thought, hey, probably just some random fan. I checked the profile and the username was #Bcrosby7, I thought, wow! That's Bobby Crosby, the 2004(5?) MLB rookie of the year. I wondered why he would like to follow me. I started a chatbox with him on another site and we had this conversation.

Bobby: Hey Mr. Nathan, what's going on? I bet you're wondering why I am following you.

Will: Yes, I kind of am, just call me Will

Bobby: Well, as you might've known, I've been out of baseball for awhile, since 2010.

Will: Yes, you have been.

Bobby: And I see you have a bit of a weakness at first base with Toshiro Ota, I'm not saying he's bad, I'm just saying he needs a bit of work.

Will: Well, I guess, so, what does that have to do with you?

Bobby: Well, I played infield my whole career in the MLB, and I'd be happy to sign a with you to play first base in 2013

Will: I'd be honored to have an MLB ROTY come to the team, but I really think Ota has good potential.

Bobby: Well, Ota is, sorry about this but, a terrible fielder, I could play first, while you play Ota at DH. Ieyasu isn't really the greatest hitter and you could probably get some solid starting pitching in trades with him.

Will: I guess so, Eh?

Bobby: Definitely so, I'll see ya around Will

After that I went home and emailed Peter asking him for a scouting report on Bobby Crosby.

Sapporo combines for shutout in win
The Sapporo Bears got a good win last night getting a 4-pitcher shutout. No scoring happened til the third when Tessai Yamaguchi got a run-scoring double play to take lthe lead 1-0. In the fourth, Hakeyama belted a sacrifice fly, then Case and Kitoaji ripped RBI doubles to make it 4-0 Sapporo. In the fifth, Yuki Hura came out after throwing 4 innings and only allowing 3 hits as he gave his throne to Sugiura Kamiya. In the sixth, Yoshino came in for the Buffaloes. In the seventh, Kitoaji drove an RBI single to make it 5-0. In the bottom of the seventh, Sapporo looked to be in trouble with runners on first and second and one out when Asashi Imamura came in and pitched his way out of the jam Kamiya had gotten into. In the top of the ninth, Kaida came in to pitch for ORIX. In the bottom of nine, Titus Whitberg came in to close the ballgame, final: Sapporo: 5, ORIX: 0.

Hey guys, the reason I skipped the Whalers series was that I've update on them a couple times this year and would like to save the update for the Marines series (next).

I have the Marines, then skipping the Fighters, then it'll be the All-Star series, in whic Ikl play the first game.

I'm following but don't really have the time to post after every single update. Just remember that everyone doesn't have to post after every single game, unless you like it that way. ;)

Thanks for the feedback, if anyone could, could they tell me how I could improve this?

I really felt bad that I would have to break the news to Ieyasu that I was thnking about trading him. I talked around to other GM's and the Hanshin Tigers GM said he'd think about giving me SP Standridge (154 D(52) B(77) 1HSLD 4KNCB 1SHU) for Ieyasu. I submitted the offer and he said he'd give me an answer in a day or two.

Now, as we are about a week away from the trading deadline, we will look at some other trade rumors around the league.

-The Hanshin Tigers are dangling OF/C/1B Asai (3FEDCDD) 33 years old

-The Hiroshima Toyo Carp could be sending OF Hirose (3DDDBBD) 33 years old to the Dragons for 2B/SS/OF Araki (3DEBEAB) 34 years old

-The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks are trying to trade OF/1B Nakamura (3FDCDFD) 22 years old to the Dragons for 3B/1B/OF Morino (3ECDCDD) 33 years old

-The Fighters are shopping SS/2B Nakashima (2GFCDCD) 21 years old and have interest in Swallows 2B/3B/SS Morioka (2EEDDDD) 28 years old

-The Bears are dangling OF Ieyasu (2DEDDFD) 22 years old in hopes of acquiring Tigers SP Standridge (154 DB 1HSLD 4KNCB 1SHU) 33 years old.

Bears get win at home
The Bears finally got back home and just in time to get a win. In the top of the first, Josh Whitesell stroked an RBI single off of Maeda which didn't look good for the Bears. In the bottom half, Kitoaji answered with a 2-R bomb and Dan smacked an RBI double to make it 3-1 Bears. In the fifth, Gunderson got an RBI single to extend the lead to 4-1. Kinjolto Rin came in in the sixth inning making Sora Maeda win-eligible. In the bottom of the sixth, Marines ace Naruse exited and in came Nakaushiro. He allowed 1 run on a Nick Lockhart single making it 5-1. In the eighth, Karakawa came on to pitch for the Marines. Rin stayed in for the ninth and finished it off for the Sapporo win: 5-1.
