I am currently making my first pitcher in '12. In the second go-around of games (Out of three), I am 148 km/h, F CTRL (Almost an E), C STAM, 3 Slurve (Done), 1 V-SLD (Trying to get to 3/4), and I also have a 66 C in Arm Strength. For some reason it won't let me boost it. It started out a 59 D and said it was maxed, then I saw it was a 65 C, and it still said it was maxed. I am now at a 66

Is this good Zero or AgentP?

Looks pretty good to me. The highest I've ever gotten in top speed is 151.

He is up, and I think top speed is easier in 12, for some reason. I also think you might have more time. That might be the reason...

Possibly... The Astros are a big pain to plan. Half the players on the team I don't know...

Currently playing some older hockey games and trying to see which ones, if any, would be good for starting a season or Dynasty log. So far, virtually all of them have more fun to play gameplay than NHL '13.

I remember playing a hockey game with my brother and one of our neighborhood friends a while back, it might have been this one:



I remember it being fun, but I don't remember which game it was, probably something released in the early 2000s - about 2002, 2003, 2004 I believe.

Well, as far as the Dynasty/GM Modes on these games go, the options really aren't that great. I was thinking after searching all the menus and such that NHL '07 might be the best option, but the controls on it aren't customizable and make absolutely no sense and are completely different from all of the other games.

NHL '07 controls are like...
Pass: L2/Right Stick. Used to be X and is R2 in current games.
Shoot: R1/R2. Used to be Square/Circle and is the right stick in current games.
Dekes: X/Triangle. Wasn't in the early games, is controlled by the right stick in current games.

So the controls for playing games are absolutely impossible to work with. It would take me weeks to get used to, and then I wouldn't be able to play any of the other NHL games at all without relearning them from scratch.

As it is now, it's looking like it'll either be NHL 2004, or I'll just abandon the idea altogether.

Lots of games for me to play - Black Ops II, NBA 2K13 (which I haven't gotten to try out yet), Halo 4, but I'm also considering going back to MLB2K8. For some reason that game has still has nostalgia to me, probably because it's one of the first baseball games I remember playing.
