Marvin said the theif was in the lookout area so do I go there?

yeah. I went there after that event and Sittch was at the lookout area and then caught the thief

Is the only way to trigger marvin telling you where he went to go to food? Or can you go to the Ducks?

Nailed him third week with a 5 arm.

From the table above the blanks fill in as East-> West, and South-> North for the marvin thief.

If Marvin tells you where the Thief is located, do you need to have another event THAT WEEK in order to find the Thief there. For example if I go to the restaurant with only 1 event left in Wk 2, and he tells me the Thief is at the Park, if I go there Wk 3 will I still find the Thief?

marvin told me he was at the park, i had a game right after that, so lost 1week. then i went to the park but instead i had a random event when you see emily, so wasted another week, went there after the event and the thief was still there. so ended up catching him after 4weeks, got 1350$ still tho

I just completed the Doctor thief event and here's what happened:

I caught him after 1 week in Vicinage. I tried bowling him over with 9 Run Speed and caught him (I too had Tough Runner). As a side note, in previous attempts, I was told that he was in the Park and had 9 Run Speed.....but I wasn't able to catch him any of those times. It could be that you need higher run speed in the park.

After catching him, I got SoH, Impact Rise, Bat Wax, Compress, and Painkiller from the Doctor. These items filled up my inventory, so I don't know if there should have been more items as a reward (I doubt it, but you never know).

If you're offered more items than your inventory can hold, it will ask you if you want to get rid of something.. (Note: you can use the items at this time, it won't just remove them from your inventory for consumable items.).. Also, I missed the Thief by throwing the ball at him with a level 9 arm 2x. So the level 5 arm theory is shot..

I think you need to boost fielding and Error Res. I missed with 5 arm str 3 times yesterday and i then boosted FLD and E Res to 3 and 4? I think. Try that and see if it works. I was a 3B but I don't think that is relavent

As a pitcher you get all the same things but glove wax and SoP this way.

Marvin told me the thief is downtown. I don't know where to check. I checked the Vicinage and no one is there and in the Streets there is Jaw. So where do I go?

I think you can go to the street even with Jaw there and select go downtown. See the movie, because you stay down town after the movie, while the other two opions Chief goes home. If it works, and it is the Glove Thief, then you will run into the Marvin again and have to pick a direciton to search. I chose West for South and it worked. Now if it is the Other Thief event, then you should run into Sittch after the Movie and get to choose a direction based on Sittch's chosen direction.
