Right tackle Peyton Eckert allowed 2 sacks in the first half and was replaced by redshirt freshman Gregory Lewis, who allowed one sack in the second half. After the game it was revealed that junior linebacker Jacarri Alexander (19 tackles, 19 assists, 3.5 sacks) suffered a broken collarbone and is out for the season. Junior Griffen Dahlstrom (12 tackles, 6 assists, 2 sacks) will take his place and redshirt sophomore Jake Michalek (2 assists) will become his backup.
