NFL Week 5 | Sunday Night Football

Green Bay Packers (3-1) @ Atlanta Falcons (3-1)

We had a pretty good Sunday night game tonight. In the first, Mason Crosby booted a 35-yarder, 3-0 Packers. In the second, Harry Douglas caught a 9-yd TD pass from Matt Ryan 7-3 Falcons. In the third, Crosby made a 45-yd kick to make it 7-6 Falcons. Then, Matt Bryant made a 50-yd field goal to make it 10-6 Falcons. Later in the third, Roddy White caught a 9-yd TD pass from Ryan to make it 17-6 Falcons. Ending the third, Crosby made a 50-yd FG to make it 17-9 Falcons. In the fourth, Leonard Weaver caught a 4-yd TD pass from Aaron Rodgers and they converted for 2 to make it 17-17. Then, Greg Jennings caught a 16-yd TD pass to make it 24-17 Packers. With 2 minutes to go, Miles Austin caught a 6-yd YD pass. Final score, Packers 24, Falcons 17.

Tonight's game was a low-scoring thriller. In the second, Jason Hanson nailed a 23-yarder for the Lions to make it 3-0. Robbie Gould ended the first half with a 55-yd bomb to tie it 3-3. In the fourth, with 5:52 to go, Robbie Gould made a 35-yd field goal to win it 6-3. Final score, Bears 6, Lions 3.

Sources say that if Jacksonville were to receive the number one pick in the NFL draft, they would not select a Quarterback. They apparently have support in Blaine Gabbert and would instead try and improve either their receiving corps, their secondary, or possibly their offensive line
