continue without saving/loading
Delete file

This message popped up on my screen in the middle of my best pitcher ever
I almost cried :cry:

I restarted my console and it said the same thing and then i realized that all my 6 success players were gone and all the one i copied were gone, it was like i just got the game all over again. :?:

I feel sick to my stomach :cry:

has this happened to any one else

it happened to me before, trust me reset and it'll come back

i have the PS2 version and have only started MLB life mode in the new game with no file corruption on my save file yet *knock on wood* though this is very concerning. there are 2 threads on the 2K forums here and here dealing with the same problem.

i'm not sure how save/data files work on Wii but i have been thinking recently about buying a second memory card for my PS2 and making backup copies of my data to prevent such issues.

Just turn it off and then on next time you get there. It's what I did. There's no way I'm pressing a button to voluntarily delete my data.

Same deal for me, got data corruption, didnt say yes, restarted Wii, file worked.

Bullshit issue still, why would a game ship that corrupts itself so regularly, people tested it right?

hmm I've had both games since the release and had no such issues. However, I do have a new Wii console bought a month before 2007 came out.

Is is possible that you guys are using OLD 1st/2nd generation consoles that are ... failing?

when it said that to me, i thought i lost my genius character.
i just hit continue without saving/loading
then turned off my wii and turned it back on.
went back to the game and the stuff was there.

you prob lost it since you didnt pick a option.

It could also be where your console is paced. When I was playing My Life, in mr bro's room, his file got corrupted, but I realized that his iHome was right next to it, which also messed up the TV screen because of the magnets on the speakers. So after I moved it, nothing bad ever happened again.

I had the issue with one of the My Life files. I reset the system but it didn't come back. i was hoping I wasn't the only one with this problem
