NFL Week 1 Sunday Morning Football

Pittsburgh Steelers (0-0) @ Baltimore Ravens (0-0)

Today's game was a sloppy one. In the first Billy Cundiff of the Ravens knocked down a 45-harder to make it 3-0. The Steelers were three-and-outed both times they got the ball in the first. In the second, Billy Cundiff made a 41-yd field goal to make it 6-0 Ravens. The Steelers got another three-and-out on their next drive as well. Lee Evans caught a 6-yd TD pass from Joe Flacco to make it 13-0. For the Steelers on the next drive they got their first first down of the game. Mendenhall then broke out a huge 56-yd run but fumbled at the 1 and got injured. Joe Flacco was able to get a 1-yd TD run for the Ravens to end the half at 20-0 Ravens. In the third quarter Ray Rice ran a 2-yd TD run to make it 27-0 Ravens. In the fourth, Lee Evans caught a 7-yd TD pass from Flacco, his second of the game to make it 34-0. Ray Lewis got a pick-six to finish off the Steelers. 41-0. Ouch.

Seattle Seahawks (0-0) @ San Francisco 49ers (0-0)

This afternoon's game was a low-scoring affair. The scoring didn't start til the second quarter when Frank Gore ran a 7-yd TD run. Steve Hauschka nailed a 50-yarder for the Seahawks to narrow the lead to 7-3. David Akers made a 56-yd field goal to end the first half giving the Niners a 10-3 lead. In the third quarter Akers made a 44-yd kick and in the fourth Gore ran a 13-yd TD run. Final 49ers 20 Seahawks 3.
