What level of difficulty does the average person play on in My Life? I'm wondering this because I really didn't want to boast about my .700/30/200 guy on Novice with the Slow pitch speed and Novice CPU pitching and fielding. I wanted to see what I could do with what everyone else plays on. Thanks!

I started on "normal," and the CPU ramps up the difficulty as you start doing well. For me the pitching difficulty is at the "Powerful" level now in year 6.

I play on expert. I think what Wyl said holds true for expert mode as well but I can't be sure. I haven't checked to see what the settings are after 5 years.

I play on normal, I tend to be pretty streaky at times (on normal) so I am probably not going up to expert for awhile.

I'll try playing on Normal for now, and Da Cowinator, your streaks might be because of your condition. Even on Novice, I can barely get a hit whenever my character is very depressed.

How do you change the difficulty from normal? I can't seem to change it because it is grayed out. I use fast pitch speed and normal for batting though.

Unfortunately, you can't change it. You just have to make a new player.

All right. Well maybe it's better that way since I can't hit as it is!

Same as Wyl. Played on normal with everything on default. The difficulty automatically starts ramping up by itself.

ive noticed the CPU fielding becoming very good with many diving stops and leaping catches at the wall

some dude was even standing on top of the wall and jumped to catch my would-be homer! i am assuming this is the spider catch ability.

You assume correctly.

It is not the spider catch ability. Any play can climb the wall. There are instructions to do it in the manual. I've had way too many guys rob my homeruns that way and none of them have the ability.

I play on normal and made the big team in April. I tried Expert, and guess I'm not an expert (stuck in the minors).

i definently play on expert because after one season of normal i had about 96 HR and over 200 RBI's and my guy had all C's

Now i play on expert and its a challenge to bat in the mid 300's, i think its fun when its hard
