I just finished my first ever game of MLB Power Pros and was so excited that I had to write about it. I am a die-hard BoSox fan so I chose to play as them against the dreaded Yankees of NY. Beckett was on the mound and pitched a 3 hit gem through 8 scoreless innings. The only highlight so far had come on a two run blast by Manny in the bottom of the 7th. I bring in Papelbon for the save in the ninth. He gives up to hits in a row to Jeter and Abreu (I think). Then A-rod comes up and crushes a 3 run homer over the Green Monster!! Then just like in real life Rivera came in, mowed down the Sox in order to get the save. It was so fun and exciting I didn't even mind losing. I can't wait to play again (hopefully tomorrow I can squeeze in a quick game before work) GO RED SOX!!!! :D

Agreed. The guys at Game Stop keep trying to sell me other crappy games, but this one is the best by far.

Yeah I noticed there were multiple visible copies of Backyard Baseball '08 and Mario Super Strikers, but they kept the MLB Power Pros behind the case

Yeah same for me. I could only spot 2 visable copies for the PS2, they were on a shelf behind him with the side facing you, and he had to go into this cabinet to get the Wii version. Then there was this mario baseball poster and below, about 20 copies of mario baseball.

I also have games on the PS2 and I got internet on that.

I was shocked when I went to Gamestop to pick mine up. The manager told me that I wasn't the only person to call about it and yet no one knows what I'm talking about when I talk to them about the game.

Yesterday I also saw about 20 copies of Mario Baseball all hanging on the glass behind the counter to try to display them, they need to get more power pros, I got one tonight but I feel bad for the people that can't get it because there's a little supply of them.

When I got mine the sales guy was trying to tell me the game had been out for awhile. None of them really have ever seem to have heard of it at all. This is going to be another one of those sleeper games that people find out about 3 months after the fact.

I had a new girl and it was right after lunch

she told me that she just put it on the shelf but it was near the ground in a row without the cover showing or anything

I sometimes wonder what a mario hockey would be like. Although it would be a pretty violent image if Bowser used his spiky shell to body check toad into the wall. If they implemented an injury system than bowser would injure players left and right.
