I agree with Cooldude, it is much more fun going through an arc to get an ability.

Not if you don't understand any of the language you're playing the game in.

Guys, it's the Japanese games. We can't really go through the arcs unless we wanted to take months to learn the language. From what I can tell (and assume), Intimidator would be really expensive and I don't think you're able to S/L, so that kinda makes up for it

The arcs aren't that complicated anyways in the japanese games, and for me at least it's possible to understand what to do by remembering the outcome of what I picked. So in my experience it has not been too difficult for me.

Also, the CCHG is now a Sinker Family pitch.

Wha? Ok then... That kinda makes sense seeing as the japanese sinker and american sinker are two different pitches, but really? Just because a changeup happens to have arm side fade does not make it a sinker type pitch

I seriously hope I didn't mess up the Patty arc, that's about the only way I can see this player being bad now.

It's like Spray Hitter- buyable but very expensive. Probably takes 15-20 turns total.

When is event 13 in the Patty Guide supposed to happen? It says once Dad introduces himself, which is around January week one, then you go to the Ducks, but I can go there twice a week for months and don't get the event I'm supposed to, does that mean it definitely won't work and I won't get anything? Because if so, I don't recommend that guide, I followed it exactly this time and it's not working...

Anyone have any idea what to do or what the problem is? Or if it means a different date?

I don't know what your problem is. I've followed that guide and have been successful 13/14 times, to the point where I don't even need the guide. I have the steps memorized, just using the guide if I forget one step or I need to double check what I'm doing

It means that as soon as dad says he's your dad, you go to the Ducks, and they're getting a loan. Did you miss the part with Sittch saying he's a spy and then going to work at Ducks?

Yes, the only important event I missed isn't in the guide.

It must be something really random and common that happens to most players but didn't on this one...
