Playoff Match-ups

AL
Red Sox(91-71) @ Massives(140-22)
Athletics(85-77) @ Yankees(91-71)

NL
Diamondbacks(88-74) @ Mets(96-66)
Braves(90-72) @ Reds(89-73)

The Massives will be facing off against the Red Sox in the first round of the playoffs. According to our records, the Massives were 10-2 against the Red Sox this season. Good luck to them! If they make it to the World Series, they will have home field advantage, as the AL won the All-Star game this year.

This sensational team of young rookies has done better than any team in major league history, breaking the record for best regular season record. The haven't shown too many weaknesses, and are a very dangerous offensive team, with good pitching. We will have to see if their dominance continues into the post season.

The Massives took game 1 of the ALDS, beating the Red Sox in the usual fashion, scoring many runs, and not giving up too many. Games 2 and 3 are also home games for Memphis, so they have a chance to move into round 2 without having to play a road game. Hopefully those game go well too!

The Massives won again, taking game 2 of the series. This game was a little bit closer, but it was still a good game for the Massives. They now have the chance to sweep the Red Sox, and advance to to the ALCS with a win in game 3.

The Massives win! They are now advancing to the ALCS, giving them a shot at entering the world series! They are the only team that swept in the divisional series, in both divisions. We will report who wins the other series, once they are over!

Who's better now, AnthonyP?

Gordon < Terry in the postseason.

No, why?

Or are you making a joke, referring to the fact that the Red Sox would beat the Massives in your opinion, and just didn't put a ?

Gordon has been getting lots of hits, just not too many HR's. And Terry has clutch hit 4.

Hey, we haven't seen the stats for every postseason game!

And Brewers, I just realized you were right. My bad.

Cano-1-3

The Massives took game 1 of the ALCS, against a tough Yankees team. Stan Dynamo was dominant for the Massives, pitching a complete game, and only giving up one hit to the Yanks. He also struck out 14 batters. The offense played well also, and scored 6 runs against a stacked Yankees pitching staff. Let's hope this series is like the last!

This game was a pitcher's duel, with Thomas Carter ending victorious, over Mike Mussina. Carter only gave up 3 hits over 9 innings, and struck out 13. Mussina pitched well also, striking out 12, but gave up 1 run that would give him a loss. The Massives offense was out of character, only scoring one run. They will have to get back on track to complete a sweep of the Yankees.

The Massives won again, and are one game away from a sweep, and one win away from making it to the World Series! This game was more of the typical Massives, scoring plenty of runs, and not giving up many. The bottom of the order has really been producing in this series, specifically Rick LaRue and Bob Griffin, the last 2 batters. We will update you after next game as well!

The Massives are in! They are in the World Series! They have swept the Yankees, and are in the World Series. When asked how they were able to win the series, manager BrewersFuzz said he credits his pitchers' abilities to shut down the Yankees offense, and his own offense's ability to score runs off the Yankees pitching staff. It is still unknown who the Massives will play in the World Series, as the Braves-Mets series is tied 2-2. We will let you know the winner! And see you in the World Series!

The Mets have beaten the Braves, taking game 7, setting up a world series match-up of Mets vs. Massives. We will be updating you on this series. Hopefully the Massives can pull out a win!
